Plex shows all subtitles for a TV show

Hi,

I have a problem that is not very serious but rather uncomfortable. When i want to select a subtitle for a TV Show (with browser, nvidia shield client, or else), Plex shows up all the subtile in the folder of my tv show, not only the subtitle with the same name.

In my folder, i have

–Series Name
----Season
-------Episode 1.avi
-------Episode 1.srt
-------Episode 2.avi
-------Episode 2.srt

So when i want to select a subtile, i have to try all subtitle to pick the right one.

Is that normal ?

Exact: Only if media file and subtitle files are named identically

Btw. your naming schema is wrong. Don’t expect it to work correctly forever.

Hi Otto, thanks for your help.

I use Subzero, i modify the “Scan option” as you said, but same result. Maybe I have to refresh anything ?

For the naming schema, sorry, I thought the title didn’t matter, but i have same thing as the example in your link :

So my .srt file are in the same folder as the .avi file, with the same name.

There is only one difference : I use the word “Saison” instead of “Season” for the folder name (i’m french). Do you think it can be due to this ?

Hello again,

While i was writing the answer above, the metadata refresh ended and it works, only the right subtitle shows up, due to the “scan” modification in SubZero.
