Plex sometimes plays quietly previous song along with current one when clicking on fast forward

Server Version#: 1.29.2.6364 on macos 10.15.7
Player Version#: v8.12 on ios 16.1.1
I’m having a very annoying issue with my ios plex client - whenever I click several times fast forward, it starts playing a new song with normal volume along with previous one with much lower volume. So two songs at once.
Restarting the app fixes the problem, but after some next fast forward clicks, it comes back.
Tried to clear cache of the app, but it didn’t help.

On the ios I’m playing only my music collection (the one from the server, no tidal or spotify accounts), no movies.

Any ideas?

@RudolfTheOne I had this happen a few times in the last couple of months, but wasn’t able to understand how to reproduce it. Thanks for posting your steps. I’ll test it now.

EDIT: Oops.
Forgot I washed my new iPad and brokeded it, and now my older one doesn’t show the issue :-/
You’re also the first person I’ve seen hanging back at 10.15.7, nice. Good to see that PMS-1.29.2 works on it. I wasn’t sure.
