Server starts and then crashes.
Everything was working last night but around 2:40am something happened and now it won’t stay running. There are no crash dumps, I do have logs but they’re over 30mb zipped.

I renamed the DB and used the previous nights backup (the only backup) and run into the same issue. Server starts, shows as running for about 5 minutes, and then disappears. No logs are updated at any time, no crash reports.
I went back to the original database and used the new instructions for automatically repairing the database and the server is now up… however… I now get ‘Server settings are unavailable’.
Content will not play, either it just hangs or I receive ‘Content is unavailable’. The drive is mounted and it sees the files. I think the issue might be that its too busy adding things back in?
Library scans are now complete and content sometimes plays… and sometimes doesnt. Plex menu transitions and updates seem slow. I still get ‘Server settings are unavailable’ on the back end.
How can this be fixed?
I shut down plex and did another auto repair on it. Brought it back up and now have access to server settings. Server still seems excessively slow though actual resources never go over 2% utilization (dual proc, 24 core 3.3ghz with 400gb ram). Havent checked iops on disks yet.
Noticed on this last go round that debug logging is turned on… I didnt do that, I didnt have access to the server settings… does that happen automatically somehow?
upgraded to 1.23.3.4692 based off another post… now back to starting point. server runs but nothing will play, server settings unavailable even after db repair.
I’ve now just downgraded to 1.23.1 and everything works fine. I’ll just stay here 
My Plex will not stay running also. PlexMediaServer-1.23.3.4692-c86c6f454-x86_64_DSM6
It just keeps shutting down, and I keep having to go into my NAS and restarting it.
2 different synology NAS’s same problem.
How do you downgrade?
I’m on windows so all i had to do was uninstall and use one of the previous packages to reinstall.
OK-- Thank You. I deleted too far back. But I new one just came out while posting this so fingers crossed.
Did you have to redo all your libraries, or did it just pick up where it was before the downgrade?
