OK, I haven’t seen this particular issue. I have some “albums” called something like “Old 45s”. In them are songs by various artists, mostly from 45’s. Each of these songs has album art that I painfully got from various places. If I change all the songs’ album names, I’ll end up with tons of one song albums.
I believe I’ve done all the stuff to get metadata to work, and it does work for “normal” albums where all the songs have the same cover. However, for “Old 45s”, Plex refuses to show the album art in the song’s metadata. It appears to just “pick” a cover from one of the songs and uses that for all of them. I realize this is a somewhat unusual case, but there should be a way to tell Plex to use the album art in the song no matter what. Does anyone know how to get this to work? I tried Plex Dance on that particular folder to no avail.
There’s no way in Plex to do that. The best you can do is to treat each song as a one-track album.
