Hi, I cleaned up my hdd and moved/renamed some folder that are used in plex library.
I already scanned the library, optimized db to update folder structure but when I log in into plex webgui, I choose movie the first page that is rendered still show the old not present anymore folder.
Plex tends to hang on to Metadata in case the file gets put back. This happens most often when you remove a movie manually instead of deleting it from Plex’s UI.
To get rid of the item, you’ll need to use the “Clean Bundles” and the “Empty Trash” options on the Manage server menu. That should remove the stray. There is also an option under the Library settings named “Empty trash automatically after every scan.” Enabling that option should help in the future.
There is no file in this auto-selected folder for “Film” library.
This folder was inside a “main folder” configured in the Film library.
After I deleted this folder and moved its content up in the parent (main) folder.
I updated library, cleaned bundles and empty the trash but when I log in into plex and click to “Film” library the screen try to show “Presentazione MiTo” folder that isn’t existing anymore.
Recreate this folder (make sure to use the same upper-/lowercase letters)
put a small .txt file into it
scan the library (wait until it is finished!)
empty the library trash
