Plex stop working on TV

Plex was working fine until because of a billing problem my subscription was canceled. Everything still worked OK except that it would only play a minute of the movie on the TV (normal). I successfully subscribed again yesterday and now if I play a movie on the TV nothing want to play. Only get an error “Plex stopped”. Tested a few videos. I can browse the server and see all my movies and videos.

On the server I can play the movies without any problems.

I would try and remove the device and add it back again to Plex - https://support.plex.tv/hc/en-us/articles/201358243-Removing-a-Device

You could also try and sign off and sign in again under Server preferences (not at the top right corner) and see if that helps. Remember to restart all devices (including breaking power to the TV and starting it up again).
