Tonight when watching TV both of my Apple TVs lost the ability to connect to the Plex Server, however, the server (NVIDIA Shield) is still working fine for my iPhone app and via the web client. What could cause an error like this? Looks like the ATV logs are saying something about not trusting a hostname?

Also, right when the feed dropped from the Apple TV I see lots of transcoder related errors in the server log around 18:55, which is when the problems start. Not sure how to make sense of what its saying though. For reference, my tuner is the HDHomerunEXTEND so I am using that for the transcoding.
Here’s the weirdest part - the stream also was broken on my Shield TV, and the settings on the Shield said the server was stopped. However, I could still access it via the phone and web?? That doesn’t make much sense at all. Very confused and hoping for some support help!
Anyone from Plex able to look at these log errors and help diagnose what is going on? These errors seem similar to me to issues I was having a few days ago so it wasn’t an isolated incident. Looking for some confirmation as to whether or not I should potentially replace my Shield TV while still in the return period, etc. Thanks,
Hoping to have someone look at this, if I continue to have these type of server breaking bugs I might just scrap using plex all together and ditch my plex pass. I would appreciate any assistance. Thank you.
*Apple TV Plex app, uninstalled, reinstalled (several times). Factory reset the Apple TV.
Plex app still quits Playlist before it finishes the first song.
Used to work perfectly, played all night (long playlist [ambient soundscapes]).
Was using an Nvidia Shield Pro, now Plex Server is on an Intel NUC; plenty powerful.
No difference; doesn’t matter, Plex app stops working before it finishes first song.
I’m ready to set all this stuff on fire and get a transistor radio from an antique store.
*Plex app on iOS, iPad, works just fine. No problem.
Done and done.
Installed/Re-installed about a dozen or so times before I did a cold factory re-set of the ATV. Reinstalled Plex. Apple TV itself seems to be ok; it’s just the PLEX app. It is dead.
iPad Plex is Ok (for now).
Thanks to all and everyone here who is trying to help; I really, really appreciate it. Consider yourselves hugged and kissed (in the politically correct way, of course). xoxo!!
I don’t really see anything in your first sets of logs you uploaded. since you can get the app to load again can you reproduce another time and get logs. noting the time you started and it stopped is helpful when going through logs
So during music playback, can you post a screenshot of the Now Playing section of the server dashboard (via your web browser at https://app.plex.tv/desktop) from the Settings page?
Also please post your audio settings on your Apple TV (Settings app) and the audio settings of the Onkyo.
