I’m in Canada and use Plex a lot. I have also cut the cable cord and use an HDHOMERUN network tuner and antenna to watch live TV. Unfortunately, cutting the cord also means no sports channels. So I’ve had to resort to using Rogers SportsNet Now streaming subscription and Bells TSN Direct streaming subscription.
With Plex as my primary source for TV it would be nice if Plex had an option to add these services and somehow be able to access them from the Live TV menu. Maybe Plex Inc could somehow get Rogers and/or Bell on board to integrate and offer some kind of PlexPass perk?
I don’t really expect anything to come from this post but wanted to get the thought our there. So I will continue to use the proprietary apps for each service.
