I’ve been using plex for years for my own media.
How do I watch live sports? Like Pro Baseball, Football, and other live sporting events? Sometimes these are OTA, sometimes fox, cbs, espn. I wish “Sports” was a category on the plex homepage.
Can someone give me the skinny rundown on the best way to do this?
Those “channels” you listed all have apps for most operating systems. Just use the correct app for what you need.
Although it “might” be possible to integrate all or most of the apps mentioned it would make Plex even more bloated than it is.
There is already too much crap inside Plex,we do not need more.

To watch live sports I use Plex, Emby, FOX Sports app, CBS Sports app, ESPN app, Live TV (In Plex or Emby or direct) and even ABC itself. There are also various organizations that stream some of their own events like FIFA, CONCACAF, CONMEBOL, UEFA and many many others.
Any attempt to bring all the various sports groups under one umbrella for streaming is more than doomed to failure because of many many reasons but the main one is greed.
