Plex streaming is broken since the latest patch 1.17.0.1709 Windows

Not sure why this cannot be added to the Plex server thread as its really a Plex Server issue but it doesn’t meet any of the sub threads criteria. :frowning:

I have a Plex server, with a Plex Pass. The server consists of an IBM x3550 M3, dual x5660’s, 64GB of RAM, an IBM M5015 raid controller with two Samsung EVO 860 250GB SSDs, and a LSI 92xx external SAS raid controller with BBU and 1GB of cash connected to a Dell M1220 loaded with 5TB SATA drives, and Windows 2016 Server Standard (fully patched).

I stream HEVC 265 connect. Every movie I have watch after the latest patch there has been a lot of buffering issues, sometimes the movie image freezes while the audio continues then the video catches up. Or in the worse case the whole movie starts buffering. :frowning:

My brother who has a Nvidia shield (patched) was direct playing everything off my server, not its transcoding everything down to 264, and transcoding the DD5.1 or DTS 5.1 down to something else. :frowning:

Would have been nice if the developers at Plex would have QA’d their installer before releasing it, because it looks like they released a buggy package, or maybe that was their intent to release it full of bugs? IDK. :frowning:

Thanks,
