I am running a plex server on windows 10 pro with all updates 1-7 4770 with 16gb ram. On a gigabyte wired network to my xbox one…the plex app buffer randomly…and the only way to recover is to back out of the movie and resume. its the only thing I am stream as well when this happens. I reset the network twice…still happens
I have been having this same issue. I noticed it just today.
Is this happening with 4K HEVC videos that are direct streaming instead of direct playing?
If so, that is a known issue that Moussa is currently working with Microsoft to fix. But at this time there hasn’t been any additional information released about it.

Are you able to post the server logs from when this happens? Currently, the only known buffering issue is tied to HEVC direct streaming. That would place this is a separate issue to start tracking.
