On my Plex Server (running on Synology, web interface accessed using windows) under the left side menu I have a main menu heading “Tardis Server” and two subheadings “Tardis Server” underneath. I have a simple set up = one server called “Tardis Server”. I want to delete one of the duplicates and get back to normal.
Plex had been running great for months (since installation) and suddenly stopped working. I updated the software version and then launched the app. I was asked the question " would you like to associate your account with Tardis Server?" which I responded yes to. I think I now have two instances of the same server on Plex and everything is screwed up - when Plex does load it is super slow and only the first few lines of metadata load on movies and tv shows.
Sorry if my questions are basic. I can only see one Tardis Server here and don’t want to delete the wrong one. Not even sure how I can get the ID of the one to remove?
ChuckPa - can’t thank you enough. It was my own fault - I now realize that I should have installed the update via my Synology package center. When I had an issue with my Plex Server I’m guessing a stop-start in the Package center might have resolved this. This is a great product and I’m pleased I stayed up late to sort the issue. Thanks for the great forum and help!!
