Duplicated server name - how to fix?

Server Version#: 1.25.9.5721
Player Version#: Chrome 101.0.4951.64

Plex thinks I have two identically named servers.

Is there a safe way to remove one of these without losing what’s on it (if anything)? I can’t see how to tell the difference between them!

I had a Plex server on a Synology NAS, but it couldn’t cope with the photos I have (several thousand) so I moved the whole server a couple of years or more ago to an ancient Dell Xeon server, and removed Plex from the NAS. I didn’t think I’d given it the same name, though, and I’ve only just noticed this duplication showing on the Dell server. And not for all artists or albums either, just a few, including some of the tracks on the 2CD Britten Rarities album which I’m having so much difficulty consolidating into one album! (Separate thread).

Would restarting the Dell server fix the issue?

Probably won’t hurt, so I’ll try that next.

A FEW MINUTES LATER
Makes no difference.

I see you had one server – ClearOS (centos 7) – which you deleted.

At this point, Restart the browser (or control-F5) to make plex/web reload from plex.tv

Now you can setup the Dell again.

Thank you. Things seem to be working again after I re-authorized the server.
