On 2023-03-24, the Plex app on PlayStation 3 (PS3) devices will no longer be available. We originally announced that the app was deprecated and no longer being actively supported almost 6 years ago. While the app hasn’t received any new features since then, it has remained available to use until now. That will no longer be the case after 2023-03-24.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and we encourage affected users to upgrade to a much better Plex experience with one of several updated and affordable devices such as Google Chromecast, Roku, or Amazon Fire TV Stick. We also continue to offer Plex on PlayStation 4 and 5 devices.
