Will PS3 Plex player stop functioning after Playstation Store closes on July 2nd?

So recently sony announced that the playstation store will be shut down on for the PS3 but you will still be able to download your purchased apps. I understand that the PS3 plex app will not get any more updates, which is fine by me it still works perfectly. But i’m just wondering will the app continue to function after the playstation store closes or will it continue to work until it eventually is unviable to keep it supported? I really hope it can continue to work as It’s one of the only ways I have of watching movies and tv shows on my CRT tv through RGB.

Any chance of one last update on the app? I still use a PS3 as a media player and to say the current app is buggy and rough is an understatement haha.

Hello. I have been using my PS3 for years to watch my Plex. Suddenly it is unable to connect. Please try again later. Why would it stop and how do I get it working? It works fine on my X-box 360. Still like the PS3 more. Please help

Tengo el mismo problema, no conecta, por favor intente mas tarde! alguna solucion para esto, cada vez en menos dsipositivos funciona! cada actualizacion limita mas y mas.
