Plex Sync and Google Drive failing after recent update.

Update: unlinked and re-authorized Google Drive, rebooted server, still having the same problem – all Cloud Sync jobs to Google hang at “Waiting to be uploaded.” OS X server version 1.12.0.4829.

Did you remove the sync, then re-sync? That is what I did and it encoded and uploaded. It would work for me until I did that.

@“MovieFan.Plex” Unfortunately I am still stuck waiting to upload, after completely removing all my CloudSync sections, disconnecting Google Drive as a provider, removing all folders on my Drive account, restarting PMS and setting everything back up again

@cferrey basically having the same issues as you

@“MovieFan.Plex” The most salient info in the log related to CloudSync seems to be:

Mar 02, 2018 13:05:11.619 [0x7f6abfbff700] ERROR - CloudSync: Error 404 requesting XML from http://127.0.0.1:32400/sync/XX-XX

Removed Google drive, added it again and started a new sync job. It is still waiting to be uploaded.

@“MovieFan.Plex”

I am seeing the same issues. I see the same “ERROR - CloudSync: Error 404 requesting XML from http://127.0.0.1:32400/sync/XXXX-XXXXX” error in my logs.

I notice that it is hitting ‘HTTP’, while my server is set to “Secure connections - Required”. Perhaps whatever function is making that call is not set up to sync itself with secure or non-secure connections? Just a thought.

I am running Ubuntu & using GD, let me know if you would like full or verbose logs.

@“MovieFan.Plex” any update here, I’m still having issues

Same problem here… Any fixes in the works?

@anon18523487 – I still have this issue, and have had it for the better part of a year. Is Plex ever going to address this?

We’ve been investigating all of Sync. We’ve made progress in the mobile apps. I don’t have any news on Cloud Sync, but we are still investigating.

Having the same issue as everybody else. I recall using Sync before Cloud was made available and I gave up on it then because I had this exact problem.

Edit: Tried unlinking and re-authorising. Now I just get an error message of “There was a problem syncing your media”. At least before it pretended it could do it.
