When I want to sync media to a device, my only options available are my phone and the cloud sync. Is there a way to add my PC as a device?? Thanks!
No there is not. Syncing to a computer would present a path where someone else’s media could then be sent elsewhere (aka. illegal file sharing)
interesting reason considering the cloud sync feature creates the same loophole, but on a potentially much grander scale. At least if Plex someday incorporated server to PC syncing, they could encrypt that data the same way spotify does with their offline library. I appreciate the speedy answer though

I am curious though, what platforms support the sync function? Android, iphone, and I suppose a few others? Thanks
Plex lets you have access to your media, by name. If you look carefully , Cloud sync obfuscates all the names. The only decryption/mapping of those names exist in your server.
All the mobile devices should be Sync destinations.
