Ok apparantly my nas Qnap TS-469 Pro is not hefty enough to transcode.
My question is is this a cpu problem or a memory problem?
Cpu is 2.13Ghz wich i would think is fine but my memory is only 1gb on the nas.
So if it is a memory problem i could just remedy my problem by upgrading it right?

The Atom D2700 CPU is not strong enough to transcode.
It can Direct Play and some Direct Stream (audio conversions only).
I used to own a machine with a D2700 CPU. The dual core was unable to keep up with most basic operations back then (2013).
