Is there any progress on allowing playing Tidal in Microsoft Edge? It only works in Chrome. It also works in Edge Inprivate. Not sure why it does not work in regular Edge. I get a DRM s6007 error message. I see that are previous reports of this, no response from Plex!
Do you have DRM support enabled in the browser?
As far as I can tell it is on. Playing Tidal from the Tidal site works fine. I can play Netflix on the web. And Tidal works in Microsoft Edge as long as I am not logged in! As soon as I sign in, it stops working. I have a Plex Pass and a Tidal family account. It is not managed by Plex, I added it in the other services page. The Plex account is a managed household, I am using the Manager account. For other users, Tidal does not appear.

Windows 11 H2, and DRM is tuned on.

WHen I am not logged into plex, I can play Tidal. As soon as I log in, it stops working. If DRM was not enabled, I assume that it would not work at all. SInce it only fails when I am logged in, it seems to be some other issue. Maybe the identifier is no good ?
I upgraded to server 1.32.7.7571. Problem still exists.
If I turn off Hardware Acceleration in Edge, it works. Seems like there is a problem with Tidal, DRM and hardware acceleration.
Any thoughts?
Edge is not supported for lossless audio from Tidal but I am not clear on which type you are playing. You definitely need DRM enabled in browser. This is the first time I have heard of hardware acceleration mattering for audio though.
Tidal can play no problem in Edge. Try this link One More Drink She Said / Web Player – TIDAL. The quality is max-flac - no problem. However, when I play any Tidal tracks from Plex when logged into my account - it will only work on Edge if I turn off hardware acceleration. If I play from Plex using Chrome, I have no problem. There is some interaction between Plex, Tidal, Edge and Harware acceleration that is not working.
