You might want to give this forum preview build of PMS a try:

It updates the FFMPEG version upon which Plex Transcoder is based to 6.1 (that’s actually present in all current beta builds) and updates the Intel drivers included with the server (present only in the forum preview build).

Obviously, backups are the order or the day.
