Plex Transcoder Errors: Connection Failed and Access Denied Issues

Server Version#: 1.41.3.9314
Player Version#: Chrome

Hi Plex Support and Community,

I’m experiencing recurring issues with Plex transcoding, and I’m unsure how to resolve them. Essentially, when a stream is running it’ll exit with the error to a user saying “Conversion failed. The transcoder exited due to an error”

Below are the details of the errors and my current settings:

I’d appreciate any guidance or recommendations to resolve these issues. Is there something I’ve misconfigured, or are there additional settings I should adjust?

Thanks in advance!

Update to the latest server version.

What type of drive is G:?

Have you instructed the anti virus software to not stick its nose into the transcoder temp folder?
Definitely recommend, otherwise it could try and look for malware in each of the transcoded media chunks.
