Plex transcoding Error code: 4294967279

Server Version#: 1.25.3.5409
Player Version#: Windows 10 Player 1.39.1.2763-300bb607

Hello everyone. Saw a couple threads on this but they have been unhelpful to me.

I have been repeatedly running into the following error:

Error code: 4294967279

Can I receive some kind of explanation for this specific error code so that I can narrow down the issue?

There are a bunch of possible issues in my logs but I can’t figure out which ones are important.

Here are a few.

This one I have seen repeat several dozen times in sections.

Importantly, the server randomly DOES hardware decode and encode. But only randomly. I haven’t been able to identify specific situations when it does work as I have used the same bitrates for the same movie over and over to be consistent.

This issue is ONLY on my local network. Users outside of my local network are able to hardware transcode with no issue.
