For some reason, it converts .srt to .ass
Tested on two different machines (Windows 11 and macos), and in chrome, firefox and safari. Still transcoding srt to .ass
That’s intentional. Is there a disadvantage from this?
The CPU load on the server for doing this is minimal, and as your dashboard screen shot is showing, it also doesn’t cause a video transcoding.

Interesting. I find .ass to be more inconsistent than when using .srt when watching movies. I.e. sometimes the .ass would just stop showing and then I need to go back (left arrow) once and it works again.
