So I changed some of my library links and seems like it is working now so directly related to this ionotify issue as you mention (thanks for your expert advice!).
I will dig more at this and try to resolve the setting ā¦ seems like it might still be set to the lower number. I have used unix/linux all my life but from a semiconductor engineer side and know my way around a little but donāt know that much about the setup.
Do you like the NUC boxes better for plex than synology? Seems like it would be 1 less layer of stuff to deal with for setting things like plex up.

rather than downloading the logs iāve just been streaming them so i can see whatās happening. I restarted to get clean logs, focused on browser based transcoding, and for whatever reason this morning, it appears to be working again. I did install intel-gpu-tools this morning to verify the gpu. After that, I set my browser quality to 4mbps and streamed a show and I saw successful transcoding session.. I then pulled up my phone and did the same on a show, success. Iām currently transcoding a piece of media initiated from my ipad that would not transcode before and itās currently 65% complete and chugging along.
I have no idea what changed, seemingly overnight, but I thank you for sticking with me and chiming in with tips and taking some extra time out to troubleshoot.

They do confirm the notify table is full.
The logs seem to point to /homemovies/Documents adding a bunch of directories which donāt contain any media content ??
when you get down to here, the table fills.

Based on what I see:
The /homemovies directory (and its subdirectories) should probably be reviewed / updated in your library sections
How many directories did you set in /etc/sysctl.conf (host not in the container) for fs.inotify.max_user_watches ?
I do like the NUC for Plex. The architecture it creates is great.
