i’m fairly certain you have the same issue as many people here with the android live tv. some are reporting the 300 second bug with interlaced content which has the same symptoms and then others playing live tv with progressive content that happens at random intervals with the same symptoms. i’ve seen other people mention the bandwidth goes fairly high during the bug and that’s one way to tell if it’s the problem i’m describing. my roku users do not have the problem.
the 300 second bug is mitigated by turning off interlaced transcoding in the firestick 4k but doing that does not fix the similar bug with similar symptoms happening at random intervals

more so i’m concerned for paying customers that subscribe or buy lifetime just for the live tv feature that is taking plex so long to fix. it’s really disheartening…
