After a recent Plex upgrade and sysnology os upgrade, plex stops running (plex server app on synology has 3 options-run, stopped and uninstall). That is its status changes nightly from run to stopped.Requiring the plex server to be activated daily at which point it runs fine. Prior to upgrades plex was bulletproof.
This happens on my DS 1817 but not my backup DS414. Both were upgraded at the same time.
Thank you for quick response. Both servers had hard drive hibernation set one for 2 hours and the other for 4 hours. I changed my primary to no hibernation and it worked fine this morning. So i hope this is a permanent fix.
Interestingly the other server has had hard drive hibernation enabled as above and that has never ‘stopped’ plex on symology.
