plex.tv down?

1.2.0.2838 for me DVR beta

Also having issues. My remote access went down, and I was not able to get to Plex.tv…Restarting server to see if it makes any difference.

If I go to plex.tv and click on Launch then I get a new page saying site unreachable.

We’re trying it here and not having any problems signing in. One of the support staff is watching us log in /out and nothing is showing.

Would all of you mind closing the browser and trying again fresh at it? They’re watching it.

If you get any specific errors.. please include that in your posts

Still the same issue. Here are my screen shots.

May I have your log files please? That will tell me a lot more than a screen shot

Here ya go!

THanks.. Can you turn off IPV6, restart, and try again?

FYI. “Unclaimed Server” is another way of saying “Not logged in” for the server & you in Plex/web (local bundled client)

version 1.2.0.2838 for me too

never had IPV6 enabled and having issue

I woke up this morning to these exact same issues, I noticed that windows 10 had some updates last night could this have affected something ? I am running 1.1.4.2757 it’s the same version I have been running I have not updated recently, when I woke up the server was no longer connecting and it will not let me login anymore and I am getting the unclaimed server message. also next to my version number is says something went wrong please install manually even though I have not tried to install a new version

of course any windows update can cause problems. The default rule after getting ANY windows updates… REBOOT

restarting now

Ok… turned off IPV6, same results. BTW, I’m on a linux box.

Disabled ipv6 restarted and same issue for me on windows 10 and have restarted. No windows updates installed last night for me

once I saw the issues the first thing I tried was rebooting but the problem still persists .

Same version here: Version 1.1.4.2757

What ISP and what DNS are you guys using?

also if I try to login at plex.tv on one of my windows 10 PCs ( i’ve tried two different ones ) it just spins for a very long time and will eventually error out ( oops looks like something went wrong, please try again) I can login on my iPhone just fine my iPhone is where I am posting from right now. I have tried completely disabling firewalls but it doesn’t help.

Let’s walk through this and capture a detailed / verbose log for me please. (anyone else wishing to contribute, please feel free)

  1. Turn on Verbose logging.
  2. Stop Plex
  3. Delete the old log files
  4. Start Plex
  5. Sign in (attempt) in Settings - Server - General and in the bundled web app itself (let’s get both login attempts)
  6. wait 30-45 second after the login attempt failures
  7. Nicely shutdown Plex and capture the logs or get the logs using the ‘Help’ feature.
  8. attach here to your next post.

9… On next restart, you can turn Verbose logging off and go back to “Debug” logging.

Cox communications, DNS 68.105.28.11:53, 68.105.29.11:53, 68.105.28.12:53

So your iphone on the same network as your pc’s works but windows boxes dont?

when I tried to enable verbose logging and hit save it said my changes could not be saved. my isp is Cox.

Rebooted, server came back up, 5 mins later its back down. Still cant login to Plex.TV.
