I have the same issue. unable to log in to plex.tv too
yes I can’t login to plex.tv too. It looks like plex is down
Plex down and no surprise the status pages shows fully operational smh
I think service status detection isn’t working correctly
Yup, there’s definitely a problem. Takes ages to get to the home screen on any app, but I found it you do get your library list up, navigate to a library then try to go back to Home…
Yes, I am having same issue… wont let me login to my local server
I have the same problem too.
This is exactly one of the reasons why local user accounts need to be done on plex media server
everything works again.
Oh!
the latest update has really messed everything up
It slow like hell.
what is the latest update version?
1.22.1.4228-724c56e62
i cant re-claim my server… i am running 1.21.4.4079
It is slow right now.
Operations is actively on it.
The authentications services (login & claim) are impacted.
can’t do anything right now plex web is down, wait for the plex team to sort it out before doing anything
Thank you very much. I hope they will fix the issue soon. This is a very common issue in plex API calls. I don’t know why Plex didn’t come up with a stable solution.
Same issues here.
It should be possible to log in on a local network server.
Anyone know if that’s possible?
Not to sound defensive but given everything plex.tv does, it really is stable.
What could be better, which they know and are working towards, is more dynamic load balancing when a regional server starts acting up
If you think of the very large enterprise systems (using Apple’s iTunes – to name drop), their architecture is the same. Ever try to run an AppleTV without internet? The same thing happens to an AppleTV which is happening to Plex – NoGo.
What’s different is how much hardware they have on the back end for redundancy. Apple has Billions invested. Plex isn’t that big YET
yes I can login to my local server with the last login managed user. I can login remotely too. But it takes ages to login.
