Server Version#: 1.24.3.5033 but problem is present with previous version
Step to reproduce:
Scanner & agent: Plex TV Series
Language: French
Episode order: TheTVDB
Use season title: Checked
Add a show with season title :
Result:
Even though on TheTVDB the titles for the French language are “correct” (not in French but in English) :

As a sidenote the description of the season is also empty, but i dont think i ever saw the agent get this information anyway
Episodes titles, synopsis and everything else are in French but season titles are in japaness

Am i the only one with this issue??
You are not the only one with this issue. I came here to make sure this thread exists. I am also seeing basically any Anime that has season title be in Japanese.
Edit: Not just Japanese Anime but Korean shows as well. I am guessing any non English show is going to show native language instead of library language.

It’s a known issue when using TVDB episode orders.
We’re waiting for TVDB to implement functionality to their api for us to support this easier: /seasons/{id}/extended does not support meta=translations · Issue #85 · thetvdb/v4-api · GitHub
