Plex Tv Series Scanner doesn’t find existing series…

Hi
Does anybody of you have also the issue that manuel searching for a series with imdb, tvdb or tmdb doesn’t work?
I have series that wasn’t detected so I was trying to find it manually (it’s very very rare that one isn’t found) but I can do what I want, it simply doesn’t get found but I have the series in IMDB, TVDB and TMDB…

Maybe I’m doing somehting wrong as I don’t need it very often?

Plex Media Server 1.23.0.4497
On Synology NAS with DSM6.x
Was also on the non beta version before

As far as I know search should be like:
tmdb-1234
tvdb-12345
imdb-tt12345

Thanks for a feedback if I’m the only one or other do have this issue too…

It seems Plex is thrown off by the fact that this show is listed as a (multi-part) movie on The Movie Database. The naming reference you pointed out above refers to how to include an identifier to your file/folder structure. In this particular case this however doesn’t seem to fix the issue at hand.
@trumpy81 : just double-checked this… this show gets no matches no matter if you enter the ID directly in Plex (attempting to match it) or include it in the show’s folder name. It does however appear to recognize there’s no such show on The Movie Database (no TMDb order available in the advanced options of the show I’ve used to test this).

So this could happen with many series like this?
So 2-3 part movies that are found as series on tmdb or tvdb or shown as series on TV?
I have some other which I still have to sort out so I know it for them too
Thanks for your help…

Yes like that I know it should work as there is also an movie entry for this one
Just need to check with this part files as some versions ago I had issues that the movie simply stopped after part1
Never try after that again, to many movies to look at lol
Maybe tom80h can find something… Would be intresting to know why at least
