Plex.tv website stopped working with "older" Mac Safari browser

Server Version#: 1.25.9 (MAC)
Safari ver 11.1.2 running on Mac OS X 10.11.6

About a week ago something happened and suddenly the plex.tv website won’t work on the browser of the older mac mini running my PMS. For example, trying to login now on that version of Safari: a white box appears with just “Account Sign in” at the top and the rest all blank! And I can’t login to plex.tv AND therefore can’t control / manage the PMS on the machine on which its running.

At first I thought it was a PMS problem and opened a topic for that (see https://forums.plex.tv/t/lost-connections-to-nas-devs-on-pms-then-rebooted-but-plex-web-wont-work-now ), but feel that that topic’s title doesn’t actually apply to the underlying problem.

Help please! I really do not want to go through the hassle of having to upgrade the Mac OS just because plex.tv changed something and won’t work with that older version of Safari.

I can’t replicate your setup, as my MacBook is running 10.12.6 with Safari 12.1.2 (which works with Plex).

However, both Chrome and Firefox run on Mac OS 10.11 and should let you login to app.plex.tv or directly to your server.

Exact same issue for me. Max 10.11.6 running my server and cannot login as the login box is empty (no fields displayed to enter credentials). Sam whether open Plex from my server app (via browser) or simply by going to Plex website myself to login. Using safari as the browser.
