So this has been an issue far back as this time last year where if you download a TestFlight update to the Plex app on Apple TV the top shelf stops working. The only workaround that seems to work for me is deleting the app first, then downloading the new version on TestFlight and then signing back in. It’s certainly not a deal breaker but it’s definitely starting to get a little annoying as its been a bug for quite some time. Is there any news on when this will be addressed or even acknowledged by the plex team?

It doesn’t seem to be as consistent as you describe it… I’m on the latest TF version and my top-shelf is displayed as expected.
Im on 7.17 (1424) and server 4.551 and I’m not getting any top shelf.
But today it is working. I Can’t figure out why?
