In the past two weeks browsing the UI became very slow and I find no reason and no explanation for it. The server is running under FreeNAS and nothing has been changed, there have not been any updates for it in a while. The clients are Apple TVs. The behavior is:
I normally wait for the APP to refresh the home screen before doing anything because otherwise the behavior is sometimes erratic, this waiting now is very long, about 20 to 30 seconds. If I choose a TV show or Movie it takes again very long to go into the selected item, again 20 to 60 seconds. And if I finally choose to play the item again it takes long time to do anything, not even the spining wheel is shown, again 20 to 40 or 60 seconds then the spinning wheel is shown and the media is played after one or two seconds. The same behavior happens in several Apple TVs.
Web browsing does not have this behavior and everything is done instantly.
