Plex update 1.32.7.7621 disappeared from Synology 418play

Just updated to plex server latest version 1.32.7.7621 and plex icon just disappeared from my Synology 418play desktop screen. It shows up as installed in the package center and when opened from there, it works. My library seems intact and media files play as expected, it seems only the icon disappeared from the NAS desktop.

The windows app is also working normally so far, same also for the web player version.

Please fix, as I hate to think something else may be broken, apart from a missing app icon…

Thanks! This fixed it. If only I knew why it decided to behave this way now. It’s always updated to the latest version and this is a feature from version 1.32.6…

I also had to stop and restart Plex for the icon to show up once I’d adjusted the Permissions. Even if you’re in the “administrator” Group, one still needs to set it.

This icon control is not working out how DSM documentation says it should.

I don’t know what the deal is BUT, if I can’t resolve it quicky, I am going to pull it from the package.
