I have followed all isntructions on here to update to the 64 bit Server for Synology DSM but it will not allow any help please !!PlexMediaServer-1.14.1.5488-cc260c476-x86_64. Plex not now listed in package center but can still install old PlexMediaServer-1.13.6.176-dd1845234-aarch64 but update not possible.
Whose update / installation instructions have you followed?
If you look at the names you posted, they represent two different processor types.
X86_64 is a 64 bit Intel processor.
aarch64 is a 64 bit ARMv8 processor.
Those two are not interchangeable / compatible
Hey trumpy81 after uninstalling the 32 bit version, itlet me install the vesrion you have pointed me to, but funily enough it still reports as needing an update and points to the 1.14 version for Intel processors, strange, but it is now running the 1.15 server. Thanks guys for your replies.
