I’m trying to login through my chromecast on my tv and when I try to log in with the 4 letter code it gives me, it just tells me that the “User could not be authenticated.”
I have no problems logging into android, ios, or windows. Also, the problem has been going on for a few days.
Has anyone found a solution to this problem?
Try this:
Go to https://app.plex.tv/desktop/#!/settings/account and Edit your password.
Make sure to adhere to the password requirements which are listed on there.
I seem to have used too many sign in attempts for some reason, but I did try to log in after doing this but the same error still shows up. I will try again tomorrow to see if it works.
If that doesn’t work, you’ll have to use the Reset Password procedure. https://support.plex.tv/articles/account-requires-password-reset/
