Plex Using Metadata Title Instead of Movie Title

Hi, I am using most up to date Plex version.

I am having an issue with metadata titles being used rather than the actual title of the movie from the Plex movie database or whatever agent I am using for scraping.

I have dragged all the LMA in “Agents” below “Plex Movie (Legacy)” but still the files are being names by their Metadata title properties.

I even removed my entire library and started over once I dragged all the LMA to lowest priority.

Anyone know how to fix this without going into each movie file and stripping away the title metadata?

If you’re using the new agents - edit the library/advanced/disable: prefer local metadata.

If you’re using the old agents - lowering LMA to the bottom of the stack - then refreshing metadata should fix it, but in some cases a full Plex Dance is required:

all steps - in order - or it won’t work.
