Since installing plex on my Xbox one it has not worked properly and consistently.The only consistent thing about it is the fact that it does not work.
Every time I call up plex on my xboxone it can’t find the server or starts then drops the connection.The only way I could stop this from occurring was by uninstalling it from my pins section then re installing it again from the App Store.Then and only then it would work for an hour or so then it would fail again so I would have to go through the same process over and over. Not suprisingly I am not happy with this situation been as though I have paid for a plex pass.
I have tried everything you have suggested in the forums to the best of my ability but still no resolution.
Finally I have discovered the solution to all my problems.Do you want to know how I solved it?Here is the answer.DO NOT INSTALL PLEX ON XBOX ONE.INSTALL IT ON PLAYSTATION 4.
Since installing it on my Playstation 4 I have had no major problems what so ever!!!
Not sure what to tell you, I downloaded the Xbox One app the first day and it's worked ever since. There is the odd can't find the server when the Plex app launches with no one logged in, but hitting quit and launching again always fixes that.....glad you got it working on PlayStation.
