Having issues getting plex to work on my xbox one. I snagged the plex pass earlier and installed the plex app it allowed me to login with my plex info but it indicates it cannot find any servers. "no servers found: server version 0.9.10.3 or higher is required. The servers we have discovered are not supported by this application. please upgrade your plex media servers."
I checked my media server, i tried updating it said i was at latest version. I tried also uninstalling and grabbing the latest from the website still the same issue. Not sure how else to proceed. maybe i need to port forward? when i look in my network locations i do not see plex media server there while in tutorials i've seen online for doing different things indicate there should be one there. Any info or help would be most appreciated.
Thank you for the response. When I re-downloaded plex i did that under plex pass. that did not seem to work. I resolved the issue. I checked under devices and my xbox showed there twice. I removed it and then went to the plex app went to sign in with login. That seemed to do the trick this time. But I thank you for the quick response. I'm glad its working. :D
You need to manually update to the Plex Pass version.
Go to the downloads page (make sure you are logged in) and click on "Plex Pass Downloads"
Then choose your device type (Computer or NAS) and download PLex Sever 0.9.10.3 and do a manual install.

im having same problem. i do have the 0.9.10.3. and plus even after installing and i hit launch it does nothing. it doesnt take me to name a server page like it says in the help page.so i cant add a library.
@dels - Take a picture and post that in a new thread. AFAIK, there is no such thing as 0.9.11.0
I know... that's what puzzled me! But after uninstalling and re-installing the xbox one app on the xbox one it now works beautifully! Didn't have a chance to take a pic before I did that though, sorry.

BTW, you do know you're allowed to take those "Energy Guide" stickers off your TV once you get it home, right? :P
It said the same thing for me. I upgraded to the latest (9.10.3) and restarted the server. Then closed the Xbox app and made sure to quit from that as well. After bringing the server back up and restarting the plex app it all seemed to work. Good luck!
Im currently running windows 7 and i have installed the 9.1003.0 media server to my computer but on completion it wont take me to the name a server page. so i cant upload any media files. also when i go to the web app it says no media server installed and when i go to install again it either gives me the option to repair or uninstall. i have done each process about ten times and not once has it worked. plus on the xbox one app for plex it gives me the same error message code saying it couldnt find server. so overall i would like some help here. is there a number i could call to get some help or must i rely on this forum. because so far everything i have searched has not been of any help to me.
EDIT: a friendly user sent me a link which sent me to the name a server page so i named my server and was able to start uploading movies but it all of a sudden stopped working and cannot reach page again. and xbox still wont connect.
martytho - do you have a plex pass? It looks like the account you're using on these forums doesn't. The Xbox One app is only currently available to Plex Passers.
