I have Plex Server set up to automatically convert videos as they show up in my Plex directories. When new videos are added, Plex will convert them but it doesnt seem to finish the conversion and the videos end up being shorter than they should be. Sometimes a 20 minute video ends up as a 5 minute video for example.
If I remove the converted file from the Plex Versions directory and tell Plex to convert it again, it will convert the video properly and the video will show up as the full length.
I’m not sure exactly what’s happening here. I have a suspicion that Plex is trying to convert the video before it has fully transferred to the Plex directory or something like that.
Has anyone experienced this or have any way to get Plex to convert the full length of the video?
