Plex Watch Together not working on Hisense TV

Hello everone,

I bought the new Hisense 40A4BG which comes with VIDAA U4 OS and I could not use the Watch Together feature on Plex. Yesterday, I noticed that it was fixed in the last 5.39.1 release, however, I still could not find the thumbnails in the Home section and could not see the “Watch Together” button in the … option on movies and tv shows.
Can somebody help me?

EDIT: I’m using the server remotely, but the watch together feature works on my computer and tablet the same way.

Thanks for the report, it looks like the fix in 5.39.1 was specifically for a case where the items would show up, but the posters would be missing and while similar this is a different issue.

If you leave the Home screen and go back the items should show up (they did for me when I was testing this), I’ve filed an issue to investigate this further though.

EDIT: Make sure that once invited you scroll up to the Watch Together hub, by default it’s not visible and won’t scroll into focus, but it exists in our testing.

thanks for your reply. I’ve tried what you told and the issue persists. If I got to a movie or a tv show episode I also could not find the “Watch together” option. Is this normal?

The option for Watch Together should be in the more Menu when looking at the TV Show or Movie pre-play screen or when in the library/recommended views by long pressing OK on the remote.

I’ve noticed that I don’t have that option in my Hisense TV :frowning:

I’ve found the issue, should be good after you relaunch the application, though it could take ~1 hour to be resolved.
