Plex Web, Adding Music Videos to playlists

Hi Everyone,

I hoping someone on the forums/staff can help

I love plex for Music and I have over 25000 songs in my library. I also have a growing number of music videos (over 3000). I create music video playlists to stream to my chromecast (my very own MTV lol)

But in the last server update the option to add a Music Video to a playlist was removed from Plex Web

i have noticed the Plex Media Player still has the option, but its using an older version of PlexWeb

I’m worried that Music videos are slowly being removed from Plex. They have taken a back seat since the Vevo integration was removed. I can use the Plex Media Player for now, but its only a matter of time until its updated.

Can anyone help? or share any information on this update?

Or should I start looking for a replacement music server?

@trumpy81 Thank you very much! I have a work around for now that is the main thing. I just hope its fixed :slight_smile:
