Plex Web App Only Sees One of My Servers

I have been running Plex on a Windows PC for years. I am now trying to migrate over to a Synology NAS. I have installed PMS on Docker and everything seems to be going ok. If I navigate to the server via IP address:32400, I can see my PMS and the player operates correctly. However, if I navigate to app.plex.tv, I can only access my old server. The new server shows up, but shows as Unavailable.

Does anyone have any ideas on how I can get both servers to show up? I need both to be in place for a little bit, until I can complete my full migration. I have gone through the list of recommended troubleshooting, but can’t seem to get it right.

Thanks,

Server Version#: 1.25.2.5319
Player Version#: 4.66.1

Sounds like the new server isn’t actually linked to your Plex account.
Did you include the claim token when you established the container?

Is that done in docker or on plex? When I navigate to the plex server via IP address and port, it shows that I am logged in.

Don’t confuse being signed into the web app vs. the server being linked to your account (=signed in).

It’s part of the container preparation

Can the claim token be added after the fact?

Not an expert… this should work

side note… this example contains a dummy/exemplary claim code. make sure to not post your claim token anywhere.

Your link to the other forum reply helped me solve this. I ended up removing my docker version of plex and adding the DSM 7 version. Keep it simple stupid.

This showed up immediately in my web app.

Thanks for the help tom80H.
