I am setting up a 2nd Plex Media Server under 1 account. When connecting to the new server directly, the new server will only show me the old server’s library, Server Settings, etc.
First (Existing) Server:
Mac Pro (10.12)
Server Version#: 1.16.3.1402
Second (New/Additional) Server:
Centos 7 / Docker
Server Version#: 1.16.3.1402
Have pulled latest from both linuxservers and the pms:plexpass version
Have verified that all config / volumes are completely wiped / rebuilt during my testing. I am definitely working with a “clean” base plex install.
If I sign into the new server with a new plex account, it allows me to create a new library, walk through initial setup, etc. If I sign into the new server with my old (existing) plex account, it only shows me my old server.
I do not see any option to “claim” the new server (the docs I’ve seen online suggest that would be the case). All of the docs I’ve seen suggest that this should be really easy, seems like I’m missing something.
Is this feature still available? Is this expected behavior? Is there anyway I can force the new Plex server to start acting like a Plex server?
