Plex Web Interface (PC) - Show release Year under thumbnail not the Season Numbers

There was another post on this which was closed back in June of 2020 by delusionsofgrandeur

Is there any way to have the Plex for PC application show the year of the TV Show under the thumbnail, instead of the season. I am currently running this on my Android phone and on my Nvidia Shield and the year of the episode shows up.

Can the PC version show the title and the year under the thumbnail???

You can see them when you sort your library view ‘by Year’ instead of ‘by Title’.
The main reason for that is that the web app doubles up as the primary administration tool for your server.

It’s like it on the Android app even when sorted by Title, you get the year under the thumbnail.

I did the sorting by year, but I would still prefer to see all my titles alphabetically. I just can’t understand why the apps can do it, yet the WebClient doesn’t.

OttoKerner, Are you then saying that this is not something which can be changed? There are no user settings to adjust? I found a way to remove the number of seasons and change to total episodes, but not the year.
