Is there a way to get the Plex web interface to list the release year of a TV show under the thumbnail, instead of the number of seasons (see pic)? It does this in the IOS Plex app, and I could have sworn the web interface used to do this too. But for the life of me, I can’t figure out how to get it to show the year. Am I missing something obvious?

Yes. Something like that. But it looks like yours are sorted by year. I thought for sure there was a way to get it to show the year, but still be sorted alphabetically. (It definitely does that on the IOS Plex app. For reference, attached is pic of the IOS app.)

I do agree, I’d rather always have the year displayed (along with the seasons) as in the sorted by year mode, but for all modes.
I agree. It would be great to have that for all modes… or even better, the option to select whatever combination we want of year, seasons, and episodes. Who do we need to talk to about getting that, if it’s not already available buried in the settings? 
well, as you can see by the ios and android apps, they are in the middle of rolling out new preplay screens, which are not yet on plexweb, so its possible that the years info may show up there in the future, or not.
as far as who to talk to, I guess unless a plex team member responds, we just keep talking to ourselves. 
if you really wanted to, I suppose you could open a new ‘feature request’ thread in that section, where everyone can vote on it, for whatever that is worth.
