Server Version#: 1.42.1.10060 (but present on 1.41.x.xxxxx as well
Player Version#: 4.148.0 (Web on Firefox, tried Chromium as well, same issue)
Let me know if server logs would be useful, but I see no errors popping up except for “Unknown metadata type: folder” which also appears in other instances so I’m not sure it’s an actual error, or if it is, it doesn’t really affect much.
The issue is specifically targeting the Track Duration filter, no matter how I try to edit filters on the Web, no matter which page I access the “edit filters” functionality from, once it tries to open the filters interface it crashes with “Something went wrong” - “An unexpected error occurred.” as long as the filters contain a “Track Duration” filter.
Editing the smart filters from mobile or the desktop plexamp apps works even with the track duration filter. If I remove the filter, the Web UI also starts being able to edit the filters.
(Just checked in the Web UI and I cannot add the Track Duration filter from there, so it seems to me like the issue here is that this “Track Duration” filter is not available in the WebUI, but it is available in PlexAMP, causing the WebUI to crash when editing filters with this specific feature.)
Hi, Is this something you’re planning to add? I was actually planning on using the Web App to edit my filters since it’s a bit more “desktop” feeling, and easier to go through.
Plus, the desktop Web App has the “Any” filtering, which I couldn’t find in Plexamp
To clarify, “Any” filtering refers to a filter group:
This way I can specify something like (X and Y and (A or B or C))
This seems to only be available in the Plex Web App, not in Plex Amp. But track length is available only in Plex Amp, not the Plex Web App, so I’m a bit torn :))
Thanks, that helps a lot, I guess I’ll use PlexAmp to edit playlists with Track Duration. Would it make sense to leave this open for the Plex Web App issue? Or is there a better place for this? Like a feature request?
