-When I log into Plex Web remotely, it can’t find my two servers (which are on two different PCs), including servers that my friends are sharing with me.
However:
-the Plex iOS app still finds all these servers remotely and can stream from them.
-When I log into Plex Web while I’m on a VPN to my local network – or while I’m actually on my local network – the all these servers are found and can stream.
-Also, Plex Web will say that remote access to my servers are “fully accessible” when I access them via a VPN or when I’m on the LAN.
I checked the Plex status at: https://status.plex.tv and it says “All systems are operational.”
I’ve also restarted the Plex Media Server on both my PCs – and have also restarted both computers – but the issue is still there.
Also two servers. Both have been running fine for a long time (one has been up for close to 3 years now, i think).
I noticed the green “secure connection” lock icons disappeared last night. I can still stream over the local network just fine. My android phone also seems to have zero issues seeing the servers and streaming media, even when i’m on LTE, and not connected to my local wifi. However, i cannot see either one of my personal servers on plex.tv web and on my local plex web interface is not showing the green lock icons anymore. I also cannot see my friend’s server that is being shared with me. This is all “local” meaning, on my home network accessing plex web from the browser - all of them ( i tried Chrome, Firefox, Opera, Explorer and even Vivaldi and at this point i am simply out of browsers to try). Once again, my android phone seems to be unaffected when on LTE, but experiences the same problem when connected via wifi to my local network etc.
I’ve disabled/re-enabled port forwarding, tried different ports, rebooted everything from the router/network switches to servers etc. Checked tor double nat and went through pretty much every trouble shooting step imaginable, but the results are still the same.
Both servers show that everything is ok, and they are “fully accessible outside your network” in the settings, but…
