For users with only one Plex login (and who are therefore unable to create a Plex Home), the option to configure “Automatically Sign In” in Plex Web General Settings is no longer present.
The capability to configure this setting still exists, but only when a Plex Home has been created as confirmed in replies 10 & 11 of the forum thread … Automatic Sign-In Option in General Settings for Plex Web 4.43.4 no longer available?.
This config option used to exist in Plex Web settings for users such as myself with only a single ID. Its removal means that I have to login to Plex every time I open my browser and connect to my server.
So the request is for the feature to be reinstated, please.
The two screenshots below show Plex Web settings with and without this option.
The first screenshot shows my Plex Web settings where I have no Plex Home created.
The second screenshot was kindly uploaded by user SE56 in the above mentioned thread. Given the subsequent confirmation the option is only available when there is a Plex Home, my assumption is that SE56 has a Plex Home set up.
