Plex Web Server intermittently goes down

My plex web server is intermittently going down. Maybe every week or two. I had a similar problem and was described in the thread linked below.

My plex server is currently not available (see screenshot). I have uploaded the only debug log that I can find.

I find that I have to stop and restart the plex app from within QNAP and then it works again.

I found the debug logs.

Above indicates that your client tried to access your PMS on 10.0.5.1 address, but your local address is 192.168.2.119

As such, make sure that the address 192.168.2.119 is set as the preferred one

And if you are not using the other IP address for like docker, I suggest you disable them completely on your QNAP

Also please switch off verbose logging and restart your QNAP

I did the first thing. But I don’t know how to disable the other IP addresses on my QNAP.

Is this tip described anywhere in the instructions for remote access?

It’s not PMS related, but is a QNAP QTS thing

I meant the tip about the preferred IP.

Sorry, and nope, it’s not and normally also shouldn’t be an issue, unless somethings are very strange in the local network setup

I set that and the same thing has happened twice in the last 24 hours.
Logs are attached. It’s extremely frustrating; almost debilitating.

You are still running Verbose logging!

And you also still has the other IP addresses loaded on your QNAP!
Lastly, I also suggest that since you use IP V4 that you disable IP V6 on your PMS

Please do above and restart your PMS afterwards

Verbose disabled. Apologies. How do I disable the IP addresses on the QNAP? Thank you.

I think I got all that now. I had been running a test version of Plex in a container because in the other thread someone said I had a corrupt file and I needed to find it. I was trying to do that there. I’ve deleted all that and now restarted PMS. I’ll see how it goes in the next few days.
Thank you.
